Dharana Yoga

Dharana Yoga sessions are dedicated to the teaching of guided relaxation techniques which help you in understanding and experiencing a restful yet alert state of mind. The essence of Dharana Yoga is to develop a deep concentration of the mind. What we try to achieve through ‘Dharana’, which is the sixth stage or limb of Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga, is “the binding of the consciousness to a single point”. It quiets the mind, helps in gaining control of the thoughts running through the mind and lets you arrive at a peaceful place within yourself.
